En-route to the ruins of Britain’s first Norman Castle and the infamous St Clemets Caves, once a hiding place for smugglers and their contraband. Hastings is home to the biggest beach launched fishing fleet in Europe.
Sample the freshly caught fish and shellfish straight off the boats, and enjoy the theatre, sea angling and exploring the old book shops, antique shops and vintage clothing shops all within a short stroll. Galleries and restaurants are also in abundance. Shop, pub and restaurant 100 yards.
